Southeast Hiring Executive Director

November 2018

Hello Southeast Soccer Families

While snow on the ground at the state tournament meant the end of our soccer season,  there are activities in which your player can continue to have fun and build their skills. Any regular exercise helps keep them ready to play hard with their team. Futsal training, hosted by Southeast Soccer, is free to players who were registered for the fall season and available to their friends for a fee. There are additional opportunities for futsal and indoor teams through the parks and rec system and other local soccer clubs. Of course, winter training for spring players will be here before we know it.

With the professional soccer scene gaining attention and new youth leagues attracting clubs, the sport is growing in our backyard. Southeast Soccer is well aware of the demand for community-based competitive soccer and strives to offer a place for all to work hard and learn good sportsmanship. Our current organizational structure has well maintained our mission, yet there are opportunities to expand our ambition to be a source of pride, place and belonging.

The Board of Directors has determined that an Executive Director for Southeast Soccer can fulfill that position to lead us towards our goals. We will be advertising and accepting applications in November and hope to find an exceptional candidate to begin the new year. See the job description for further detail on the expectations and role for the Club. Everyone is welcome to apply or send us any questions-the Board appreciates hearing your thoughts and comments. You can reach us anytime at board@sesoccer.org.

Thank you for being a part of the Southeast Soccer community!

Respectfully yours,

The Southeast Soccer Board of Directors
